Due to the increase in both daylight and evening crime on the Block (robbery of Pig, daylight theft at Daily Planet and then conversion of goods at Counterpoint, muggings with weapons, abductions from two businesses), Andrew Chadsey, manager of th...
And this is why I called you incredible. I feel that way about people who care and see the bigger picture. My approach to everything in my life is to find positive solutions. I spent too much of my past bemoaning what I didn't have and where you put your energy grows. My thought process and life changed through this work (I did with Dee Wallace) as an actor. It works in every aspect of life.
I read your blog on the Scott proposal and understand completely. I don't think permitting is a solution at all and we need to find a way to work together for a real solution.
Hey, Ms. Brandi
Leaving again for Tennessee on Sunday for about a week. Won't know if chemo/radiation has taken effect for another 2 or 3 weeks. Thanks so much for your concern and kindness. Lemme know when meeting is scheduled. Cheers, Mary
Hey Brandi!! finally getting a chance to become more familiar with this "ning" thing. Went to high school with a Roanne and Tony D'Amore (Santa Barbara County).. hummm.
Hey, just a heads up, my dad is battling a tough form of cancer as of this week...just found out. So my sister and I will be heading back east off and on starting next week depending on how much we're needed. May be out of touch on this website AND with neighborhood issues in the coming weeks. Please pass it on. And keep up the good work. Thanks!
oops...i have now accepted your 'friend request' . I'm a cyber-moron...just learning this stuff. But i need all the friends i can get! Does this mean we go to lunch or have our nails done together or anything?
Yes, ma'am...I was never 'consulted' about the proposed parking restrictions by Scott...or if I was, I must have bumped my head, cause I don't remember. Also, heard the restrictions were originally set to begin at 2 a.m. for overnight purposes and then rolled into flat-out, full-time permit parking district. Bottom line is this was an attempt to fast-track permit parking without anyone noticing and i'm still horrified at the fact that this can be done on a street-by-street basis if called a 'temporary' PPD, and essentially turn into a full-out, 6-street PPD. This will not go through without a serious fight and hopefully some press coverage. Go get 'em, Brandi...'you're a fine girl, what a good wife you would be'...
Brandi, you're amazing. It's people like you who help create a community and Robin and I are glad to be a part of it. We've been here over 4 years now and really love it here. We don't want to live anywhere else. Count us in on helping keep this community tight!
Hi. I've lived and breathed this neighborhood for almost 20 years, back when it was nothing and scary. I helped get our neighborhood organized to start a neighborhood council. I believe in it, that it is unlike any other neighborhood in Los Angeles, and that is because of the tightness of the community
